1976 Kawasaki SR125 Works Photo 1
1976 Kawasaki SR125. Kawasaki was getting serious about the 125 class by 1976 and hired Steve Wise to race the bike in the Nationals in '76, with decent showing in the first few rounds. Steve switched to Honda mid-year, so Kawasaki hired Mickey Kessler to finish out the year with several top five finishes. One of only two bikes made, weighing in at just 167lbs. Full sand cast magnesium motor, billet triple clamps, pop riveted fiberglass tank, very rare to find an American Works 125. This is the one that Steve Wise and Mickey Kessler rode in the '76 Nationals.
